The Israeli army struck the capital of Yemen
Israeli troops struck the capital of Yemen, Sana’a. This is reported by the Israel Defense Forces.
“The Israel Defense Forces have completed a series of strikes against military targets belonging to the Houthi terrorist regime in Sana’a. Recently, dozens of reconnaissance-guided aircraft have struck military targets belonging to the security and intelligence apparatus, as well as military forces of the Houthi terrorist regime in Sana’a, Yemen,” the IDF said in a statement.
According to the Israeli military, among the targets hit were the headquarters of the Houthi general staff, the complexes of the security and intelligence apparatus, the headquarters of military relations with the public of the Houthis and military camps, where, according to the IDF, weapons and operatives of the Houthi regime were discovered.
“The strikes were carried out in response to repeated attacks by the Houthi terrorist regime against the State of Israel and its civilian population, including the launch of unmanned aerial vehicles and surface-to-surface missiles towards Israeli territory,” added the Israel Defense Forces.
The strike in Sanaa came a day after the group claimed a drone attack on a hotel in the Israeli Red Sea resort of Eilat. The attacks targeted areas in the south and west of Sana’a and took place during the broadcast of a pre-recorded speech by Houthi leader Abdul Malik al-Husa. Al-Masira TV channel did not provide additional details about the attack.
