The Kremlin said that peace between Russia and Ukraine could be achieved within a year, and Washington and Moscow “can find” a solution. This is reported by Reuters.
“Now people are focused on the regional conflict around Russia, but we do not want it to grow into a larger confrontation. To do this, we need to act better than before, not worse”, he added.
Let us recall that last week Dmitriev visited the United States – shortly after the introduction of new sanctions against Russia, which affected the companies “Rosneft” and “Lukoil”. During the visit, he stated that the sanctions would not affect Russia, but would only cause fuel prices to rise in the United States.
Dmitriev also claimed that the United States, Ukraine, and Russia were “close to resolving the war diplomatically.” Following these statements, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moscow was allegedly ready to accept the U.S. concept for ending the war against Ukraine.
