The meeting of the Ukrainian and American delegations in Miami has ended
The negotiations between representatives of Ukraine and the United States, which took place in Miami and concerned the peaceful settlement of the situation in Ukraine, have already come to an end. This is reported by the media.
According to media reports, “the meeting of the Ukrainian and American delegations in Miami has ended. From the Ukrainian side, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov and the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andriy Hnatov” participated in the negotiations. Media sources clarified that the discussion was devoted to the details of the peace plan proposed by the United States of America.
This is the third Ukrainian-American meeting in this format. The previous negotiations were held on November 23 in Geneva. The parties previously met on November 30 in Miami, Florida.
As previously reported, in November Washington presented an updated concept for ending the war, prepared by Donald Trump’s special representative Steve Witkoff together with Russian envoy Kirill Dmitriev. The initial document contained 28 points and, as sources noted, was largely favorable to Moscow. That is why on October 23 and 30, consultations were held between the Ukrainian and American delegations in Geneva and Miami to finalize the draft and strengthen Kyiv’s position.
On Tuesday, December 2, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner arrived in Moscow for a meeting with Vladimir Putin, during which, according to media reports, they were to present an updated version of the document.
