The SBU and Ukrposhta held a ceremonial redemption of the stamp dedicated to the special operation “Pavutina”

The Security Service of Ukraine together with Ukrposhta conducted a ceremonial redemption of the stamp dedicated to the unique special operation “Pavutyna”.
“This is not just a brand. This is a reminder that the SBU can sting the enemy thousands of kilometers from our border, when the occupiers do not expect it. “The Web” has already become one of the visiting cards of the Security Service. This is a unique, multi-stage operation – a symbiosis of the intelligence and technical components, – noted the head of the SBU, Lieutenant General Vasyl Malyuk.
He recalled that SBU operators struck four Russian airfields with special combat drones, as a result of which 41 enemy planes were hit at the same time.
“This is 34% of the entire Russian strategic aviation. According to various sources, from 13 to 21 aircraft were irretrievably destroyed. Behind us, you can see the TU-22M3 strategic bomber, as well as the TU-95MS. Such planes were hit by the Security Service of Ukraine during the “Web”, emphasized Vasyl Malyuk.
As the head of the Service emphasized, some of the affected aircraft are unique, so their repair will take a very long time, and a significant part of this equipment cannot be restored at all.
“I am sure – in the future, new stamps about the legendary SBU cotton await us. We are actively working on it, – summed up the lieutenant general.
General Director of JSC “ Ukrposhta” Ihor Smilyanskyi reported that the circulation of the postage stamp “ SBU Special Operation “ Spider” is 300,000 copies. In addition to the stamp, a “First Day” envelope, an art card and a presentation folder were issued.
“In 2022, Russia dreamed of “Kyiv in three days” and called itself “the second army of the world”. But all this remained just slogans. In particular, thanks to such brilliant special operations as “Web” performed by the SBU. It was this event that we engraved on the first stamp of our new annual series “Independence Stamps”. We are convinced that this series will last more than one year!, – said Ihor Smilyanskyi.
