The Ministry of Defence commented on the problem with deferment for parents with many children in the Reserve+
The Reserve+ app has a problem with displaying deferred payments for parents with many children from different marriages. The corresponding document does not appear in the application, which is due to the lack of the ability to check child support arrears.
According to the law, parents with many children are entitled to a deferral if they have three minor children and no child support arrears. Currently, Reserve+ automatically confirms the deferral only for those who have three children in one marriage, which limits the number of parents with many children born in different marriages.
Deputy Minister of Defence Kateryna Chernogorenko explained that the problem lies in the lack of access to the Unified Register of Debtors, which is necessary to check whether there are no child support arrears.
‘Because the absence of debts is one of the important conditions for obtaining a deferral. At present, these citizens can still get a deferment in the TCC,’ the official said.
In the future, the Ministry of Defence plans to ensure that the deferral is correctly reflected in the Reserve+ for parents with many children from different marriages and other categories entitled to this benefit.
