Defenders who have received serious injuries (contusions, traumas and mutilations) at the front and are receiving inpatient treatment in health care facilities will have additional payments.
This was reported by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Nataliya Kalmykova in interview “Ukrinform”.
She noted that this applies not only to those military personnel who are in Ukrainian hospitals, but also abroad.
“This compensation is 100,000. It is paid for the time of inpatient treatment, including the time of transfer to a hospital. In addition, it is paid to fighters who are on leave for treatment after a serious injury according to the opinion of the VLK“, she said.
According to Nataliya Kalmykova, during the vacation, the military serviceman’s money remains with him. However, at the same time, there is also such a concept as monetary assistance for recovery. It is provided to defenders upon report, in particular, in the event of their annual basic leave or part thereof.
