From 2025, Ukrainian military personnel who were injured during service will be able to count on receiving so-called “wounded packages”. About this stated Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Brigadier General of Justice Serhiy Melnyk.
The general emphasized that the state should provide military personnel, veterans and recruits with constant support both during and after the service. One of the manifestations of such support will be the initiative to provide special kits for wounded defenders. So far, the details regarding the composition of the “packages” and the order of their receipt remain unknown.
The deputy minister also noted that the Ministry of Defense is working on improving the food system for the military and plans to introduce additional financial incentives that will help increase motivation and improve service conditions.
“These initiatives are only part of the systemic changes we plan to implement. They are designed not only to support our military today, but also to create a foundation for their protection, development and a secure future.” Serhii Melnyk emphasized.
