The Ministry of Defense appeals against the change of the head of the AOZ in the state register
The Ministry of Defense appealed to the Ministry of Justice with a complaint regarding the introduction of changes in the state register regarding the head of the Defense Procurement Agency (AOD). The agency requests to appeal these changes and return the name of Arsen Zhumadilov to the register. About this reported on the website of the Ministry of Justice.
The relevant application was received by the Board for consideration of complaints in the field of state registration. According to the Ministry of Defense, on January 29, a private notary illegally made changes to the register, replacing the acting head of JSC Zhumadilov with Maryna Bezrukova. However, the latter was removed from her position by the head of the Ministry of Defense, Rustem Umerov, during the official investigation.
“The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, as the authorized body of the company’s management, believes that the decision to change the manager was made in violation of the requirements of the legislation and the company’s charter.” – it is noted in the message.
The Ministry of Justice will consider the complaint in accordance with the established procedure. At the same time, the Defense Procurement Agency insists that Maryna Bezrukova remains the current director of AOZ from February 1, 2024, and her powers have not been terminated.
“Marina Bezrukova has been the current director of the Defense Procurement Agency since February 1, 2024. These powers did not end, and were extended by an additional agreement signed by the chairman of the Supervisory Board of AOZ on January 23, 2024.” – the AOZ emphasizes.
They also said that the relevant documents were submitted to the state registrar, which became the basis for updating the data in the register in accordance with the actual circumstances.
