The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced plans to launch a new mobile application called “Veteran+”, which will provide services for veterans.
As Deputy Minister of Defense Kateryna Chernogorenko reported, the project is currently at the stage of consultations with various interested parties, in particular with other ministries. She emphasized that it is important to take into account the opinions and recommendations of all participants in the process for the successful implementation of this product.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense on YouTube, the department is actively working on evaluating the most effective ways to implement the “Veteran+” application to ensure quality services for veterans. This is in line with the Ministry of Defense’s intention to create conditions for the rehabilitation and support of the military, similar to those that exist in the G7 and G20 countries.
It is also emphasized the readiness of international partners to provide support to Ukraine in this direction, which can significantly speed up the process of introducing new programs and services for veterans. Defense Minister Rustem Umyerov previously noted that Ukraine seeks to implement programs that will provide military personnel with a high level of rehabilitation and social support.
