The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine approved the strategy of attracting and retaining human capital in the Defense Forces

Ministry of Defense of Ukraine for the first time presented a strategic document aimed at radically changing the approach to servicemen and ensuring interoperability with NATO in the field of personnel management.

Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Natalia Kalmykova emphasized that the implementation of this policy, developed with the participation of NATO experts and the public, will make the Ukrainian army more effective and modern.

Work on policy formation began last fall. We used the best experience of Western partners, adapting it to Ukrainian realities. Specialists from the personnel management committee of the Ministry of Defense, strategic advisors of NATO and representatives of the public sector worked on the policy. I am sincerely grateful to everyone involved in this important work. The implementation of this policy will change the Ukrainian army, make it more efficient and modernKalmykova noted.
