The Ministry of Defense reported on the full provision of material support for female military personnel
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that in 2025, the needs of female servicemen in field suits and underwear will be completely covered.
“This was achieved thanks to centralized procurement of specialized uniforms and underwear, designed taking into account the physiological characteristics of women”, — noted in the department.
The Ministry of Defense specified that this year the enterprise The “State Rear Operator” purchased and transferred to military units more than 30 thousand sets of women’s field suits. Among them are 500 sets of increased strength (class 13) for work in difficult conditions. Separately, the state purchased more than 100 units of underwear of various types, adapted to seasonality and specifics of use.
The ministry emphasized that the uniform has a special cut and high-quality materials for comfort and practicality when performing tasks, and the purchases covered a wide size range.

The report also recalled that the model of the summer field uniform for women was first approved in August 2023, and the first sets of the defenders began to receive in February 2024. At the same time, the Logistics Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine previously reported that bulletproof vests for servicewomen, adapted to the peculiarities of the female body structure, are planned to be issued in 2026.
