The Ministry of Development and Trade is launching a competition for interregional bus routes in electronic format for the first time
For the first time, the competition for interregional bus routes will be held in electronic format through the Unified Complex of Information Systems of Ukrtransbezpeka (EKIS). This was reported by the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories.
The functionality for this was developed by the Ukrtransbezpeka team in cooperation with the Ministry of Development.
“The first electronic one will be announced on October 21, and it will cover 38 facilities (43 interregional routes)”, — the message says.
Documents can be submitted from October 22 to November 14 through the Unified Complex of Information Systems of Ukrtransbezpeka. The competition itself is scheduled for December 1, and the results will be announced on December 15.
“For the carrier, the entire procedure for submitting documents takes several minutes, most of them are generated automatically”, the department notes.
Recall that on March 3, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the transition to digitalization of competitions for internal bus routes, which will now be held through the carrier’s online office. The resolution stipulates increasing the transparency of competitions for intra-regional and intercity routes in the regions.
In particular, regional and city administrations, which act as transportation organizers, are required to hold open meetings with online broadcast within the framework of competitions for routes and ensure the publication of document packages.
