The Ministry of Economy denied incorrect information about the immediate cancellation of the deferral for employees of critical enterprises
The Ministry of Economy denied reports of an alleged immediate cancellation of the deferral for employees of enterprises considered critically important. According to the press service of the department, the new rules, on the contrary, simplify the booking procedure, reduce formal checks and provide for a 45-day booking period, which helps defense-industrial complex companies retain key employees.
The Ministry of Economy’s statement states:
“Information has appeared in the media that the deferral for employees of critical enterprises can be withdrawn instantly and without warning. This is an incorrect interpretation.”
The basic booking mechanism remains unchanged: the deferral is granted through an enterprise that has the status of critical, and is terminated only in the event of the loss of this status.
Instead, the new changes simplify the procedure: now employees of defense-industrial complex enterprises can be booked for a period of up to 45 calendar days, and the 72-hour check of lists submitted for booking has been canceled. This allows companies to retain key professionals and ensure uninterrupted work while formal procedures are completed.
Companies that meet the criteria continue to reserve employees as usual.
The government has also expanded the grounds for reservation: now 100% of employees of critical enterprises in front-line regions can be protected from mobilization, and manufacturers of various types of drones have been given the opportunity to reserve their employees.
