BEB announced a wave of fake letters allegedly coming from the bureau

The Director of the Bureau of Economic Security, Oleksandr Tsyvinsky, warned about the mass distribution of fake emails that allegedly come from the BEB and contain malicious attachments. He reported this on Telegram.

According to him, such letters are not related to the Bureau of Economic Security and can pose a serious danger to recipients.

“Under no circumstances open attachments in such letters or click on links,” Tsyvinsky stressed.

The BEB stated that they had already responded to the situation and transmitted information about the incident to the Cyberpolice and the SBU. Tsyvinsky also noted that such a mailing may be part of an attempt to discredit the work of the department and mislead businesses.

“It is obvious that the work of the BEB does not suit those who lose illegal income,” he added.
