Service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have resumed the service for ordering individual license plates, which was temporarily suspended.

Car owners can once again order individual license plates online – in the Driver’s Office. The service is also available by contacting any service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in person.
What is an individual license plate?
An individual license plate is an additional license plate to the state number of your vehicle, which you can order at your own request. The inscription on it must be unique and not repeated.
What are the requirements for an individual license plate?
For passenger cars: 3 to 8 characters (letters or numbers, or a combination thereof). For motorcycles: 3 to 6 characters (letters or numbers or a combination thereof). The number plate must contain at least 2 letters.
The cost of the service:
- Special products (number plate) for cars: UAH 204.
- Special products (number plate) for a motorcycle: UAH 92.40.
- Three symbols (minimum order): UAH 300.
- Each subsequent symbol (up to 8): UAH 90.
- Graphic element: UAH 500.
You can get an individual number plate in two ways: by yourself or with delivery to the “Novaya Poshta” branch. It is possible to pick up an individual license plate on your own at the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kyiv – in the Department of Standardization at the address of st. Mrii, 19. The service for the production of individual license plates is provided for up to 40 days.
