The National Police liquidated drug dens in 15 regions of Ukraine

The National Police liquidated drug centers operating in 15 regions of Ukraine. About this informs press service of the National Police.
The police exposed an organized criminal group that was engaged in the production and distribution of psychotropic substances – alpha-PVP, amphetamine and mephedrone – throughout the territory of Ukraine.
Employees of the Department for Combating Narcotic Crime and investigators of the National Police, in cooperation with the UBN units in Chernihiv, Sumy, Zhytomyr, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Odesa, Lviv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Volyn, Mykolaiv, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi and Kyiv regions, as well as in the city of Kyiv, with the participation of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the SBU and with the support of special officers, detained 66 people, including the organizer.
The group created a wide network of drug laboratories and warehouses where illicit substances were manufactured, packaged and stored. More than 700 kilograms of drugs were produced every month, which were supplied to consumers in various regions. According to estimates of the “black” market, the value of such products exceeds 300 million hryvnias.
In the course of investigative actions, law enforcement officers liquidated 17 drug laboratories and 15 warehouses with psychotropic substances. 66 people were detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. Investigations are ongoing.
