The number of injured in Kyiv after the night attack has increased significantly, and the number of dead has increased
A massive night attack on Kyiv injured 62 people. The number of injured and dead continues to be clarified. This was reported by the Kyiv police.
Among the injured are two children. The deceased was an elderly woman – she died in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital.
According to data from the city mayor Vitaliy Klitschko, as of 8:32 on May 24, 44 people were injured. The number of dead has increased to two people. At 9:30, the Kyiv mayor reported another increase in the number of victims – there were 56.
As reported by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, the number of victims has now increased to 62 people.
During the Russian attack, damage was recorded in all districts of the capital. In particular, in the Shevchenkivskyi district, two residential buildings and an office center were damaged by falling rocket fragments.
Videos of the destroyed Kvadrat shopping center, McDonald’s, and Lukyanivska metro station, which are located near the impact site, were also shared online.
In addition, fires broke out in the capital on the territory of the market, in two schools, and on a gas pipe between residential buildings.
