A Russian drone attacked a minibus traveling on a highway near the Mykolaiv rural community in the Sumy region. One person was killed and several others were injured as a result of the strike. The bus was traveling on the Sumy-Shostka route, reported the head of the OVA, Oleg Grigorov.
The incident occurred within the village of Postolne. The circumstances of the transportation are currently being checked, and the issue of opening criminal proceedings under Article 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (official negligence) against persons whose actions or inaction could have led to tragic consequences is also being considered.
“There are restrictions on this section of the road. This is a high-risk zone, which the enemy has repeatedly attacked with drones. A passenger transport traffic scheme has been developed and approved to bypass dangerous roads. The designated backup, safer routes have been brought to the carriers. Ignoring such requirements creates risks for people’s lives and can have tragic consequences, — explained Oleg Grigorov.
According to information from the prosecutor’s office, it is known about the death of a 69-year-old man who was injured during a Russian attack on the territory of the Mykolaiv community. 13 people were injured, among them an 8-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl
As specified by the head of the OVA Oleg Grigorov, the elderly man died in the hospital:
“While still in the ambulance, doctors began resuscitation measures, but the injuries were too severe — they could not save him. Sincere condolences to the relatives of the deceased.
Currently, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the fact of committing war crimes in accordance with Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
