The Russian army hit a training unit of the Armed Forces with missiles: there are casualties

Russian troops attacked with two “Iskander” ballistic missiles during the day. on the territory of one of the training units of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. There are casualties among the personnel, report Ground Forces.

According to the military, the rockets hit the shelter of Ukrainian fighters directly.

“Despite the security measures taken, unfortunately, it was not possible to completely avoid losses among personnel. Appropriate emergency services are on site. All the necessary medical assistance is promptly provided to the wounded, – reported in the Ground Forces.

Currently, work is underway to equip training centers, training grounds and other military facilities with more reliable shelters. Security measures are also being strengthened to protect personnel during missile and air attacks.

This is not the first time in recent months that the Russian army has struck Ukrainian training grounds and training centers. In May, an attack on a shooting range in the Sumy region was reported. At the beginning of June, an attack was made on the 239 training ground in the Dnipropetrovsk region, and a few days later – on the training ground in the Poltava region.

After a series of such attacks, the then commander of the Ground Forces Mykhailo Drapaty resigned and was appointed to lead the United Forces. Brigadier General Gennady Shapovalov took his place.
