Within 7-10 days, Ukraine will propose an algorithm for dialogue on the deployment of the military contingent of allies: Zelenskyy

Within the next 7-10 days, Ukraine intends to present an action plan to its allies to discuss the possible placement of a military contingent after the end of the war with Russia. About this reported President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a press conference following the results of the “coalition of the willing” summit in Paris.

According to him, the leaders of different countries have their own vision of how to ensure the security of Ukraine in the event of a peace agreement with Russia. At the same time, the key approach remains reliance on a combat-capable Ukrainian army and the possible deployment of a foreign military contingent.

“There is a base that is based on the Ukrainian army and the contingent that is represented in Ukraine – in the sky, at sea, on the ground. We believe that Ukraine will propose an algorithm for dialogue. I think it will be in the next 7-10 days – with the meeting already announced by President Macron. We will be very friendly, but we will argue already on the site, which will be ready. We will offer a basic idea, a basic strategy,” – noted Zelensky.

The President also informed that during the discussions options for deployment of forces under the auspices of the OSCE or the UN were voiced, but Ukraine does not support these proposals.

We will remind that Ukraine’s Western partners are discussing the possibility of sending a peacekeeping or stabilization contingent after the end of a full-scale war. In particular, at the beginning of March, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced the formation of a “coalition of the willing” that would unite countries ready to send their troops.
