The Russian Army is throwing forces at the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defense breakthrough near Pokrovsk: “Khortytsia” Special Forces Unit
Russian troops do not stop trying to break through the defense of Ukrainian forces near Pokrovsk, trying to take advantage of their numerical advantage. About this informs press service of OSU “Khortytsia”.
According to the information of the Ukrainian military, the enemy tried to break through the defensive lines in the Pokrovsky direction in the areas of Rusyn Yar, Yablunivka, Razine, Volodymyrivka, Popiv Yar, Malynivka, Myrolyubivka, Mykolaivka, Zvirove, Novoeconomichne and Lysivka settlements. Fighting also continued during the last day near the settlements of Udachne, Molodetske, Muravka, Novopavlivka, Novosergiivka, Oleksiivka and Dachne.
“The Defense Forces are taking measures to prevent the deterioration of the tactical situation”, the message says.
The Pokrovsky direction remains one of the most tense sections of the front in eastern Ukraine. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has repeatedly reported on intense fighting in the area in recent days.
On the Novopavlivskyi direction, the enemy is concentrating its main offensive efforts in the areas of Yalta, Myrne, Voskresenka, and Komar settlements, while on the Gulyaipilskyi direction, active fighting continues near Malynyvka. The fighting remains intense. Units of the Defense Forces continue to confront the numerically superior enemy, delivering strikes to weaken its offensive potential as much as possible.
