After the Russian attack, power supply in Odessa was cut off, there were casualties
On the night of January 12, Russian troops attacked Odessa, as a result of which electricity was lost in part of the city, residential buildings were damaged, and there were injuries. This was reported by the head of the Odessa MVA Serhiy Lysak.
According to him, as a result of the enemy attack, an infrastructure facility in the city was damaged, as a result of which there is a temporary lack of electricity in one of the districts. He also noted that two victims were previously known.
Serhiy Lysak clarified that currently one private house was destroyed, and four more homes were damaged. There is still no electricity in part of the Peresyp district, specialists are working to restore it, while the heat, water supply and sewage systems are operating normally.
The head of the MVA reported that all necessary emergency and utility services are working at the sites of the hits. Also, according to him, an operational headquarters has been deployed at the site of the attack, where residents can apply to receive compensation under the state program “eVidnovlenie” and from the city budget, where consultations and assistance are provided to people whose homes have been damaged.
