On the night of April 12, Russian troops launched an attack on Kyiv with the help of drones. According to preliminary data, fires broke out in the capital as a result of shelling, and there are casualties. About this informs Mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko.
“Fire in Sviatoshynsky district. Non-residential buildings are on fire. A private house is on fire in Darnytskyi”, the message says.
As a result of the attack and the fall of fragments of downed drones, fires broke out in the Svyatoshynskyi and Darnytskyi districts of Kyiv. A private house and a non-residential building were damaged. Rescuers are working on the spot.
In one of the locations, the fire engulfed a warehouse with an area of 1,500 square meters. The fire was contained at 06:22. At another address, the fire damaged two warehouse buildings with a total area of 1000 and 150 square meters. Some of the structures were destroyed, the fire broke out on the territory of the industrial facility.
“Already two victims in Sviatoshyn district. Medics are providing assistance”, – added Vitaliy Klitschko.
