The Russian Federation attacked the UN humanitarian mission in the Kherson region

On October 14, Russian troops attacked the UN humanitarian mission in the Kherson region, damaging a truck. This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of Kherson OVA.

“In the morning in the Bilozerk community, the occupiers targeted UNSC trucks with drones and artillery, said Prokudin.

According to him, the enemy attacked four white cars with appropriate markings, which did not have military equipment. They delivered humanitarian aid to local residents. Currently, it is known that one truck was burned, another was seriously damaged, and two more were able to get out of the shelling. In advance, there are no victims.

“Today the “second army” of the world defeated several tons of “humanitarians”. Terrorists – there is nothing more to say here, added Prokudin.

This is not the first case of attacks by Russian troops on humanitarian missions in Ukraine. At the beginning of September, several people were killed as a result of a rocket attack on Chernihiv, the strike was aimed at employees of the humanitarian demining mission.

In Mykolaiv on July 24, during a night attack, a drone hit the base of the Norwegian humanitarian organization Norwegian People’s Aid, which helps with demining.

In June, the Russian occupiers attacked a warehouse with humanitarian aid in Zaporizhzhia. The damage was estimated at 3 million dollars. A few days after that, Siversk in Donetsk region was shelled, destroying the building of the city council, where residents received help.
