Late in the evening of April 3, Kostyantynivka, Donetsk region, was fired upon by the Russian army from the “Smerch” rocket salvo system. As a result of the attack, one civilian was killed and three others were injured. About this reported Donetsk regional prosecutor’s office.
“Late in the evening of April 3, 2025, the Russian army covered Kostiantynivka with fire, probably from the “Smerch” anti-aircraft missile system. The target for the occupiers was once again a residential building. A 24-year-old citizen was killed during the attack. In addition, men aged 50, 51, and 62 were injured.” – says the message.
The victims were hospitalized with mine-explosive injuries, shrapnel wounds and a hip fracture. The condition of two of them is assessed as serious. In Kostyantynivka, damage to the facades of 14 private and one multi-apartment buildings, 12 garages, as well as electricity networks and gas pipelines was recorded.
The Kostyantyniv district prosecutor’s office, within the framework of the procedural guidelines, opened a pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings on the fact of a war crime under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
