The Russians attacked the energy infrastructure in the Lviv region

On January 15, the Russian Federation carried out a large-scale missile attack on Ukraine, aimed, in particular, at the energy infrastructure of the Lviv region. About this informs Mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovy.
“During the morning attack, enemy cruise missiles were detected on the territory of the region. As of now, they no longer pose a threat.” – the message says.
Maksym Kozytskyi, the head of the Lviv OVA, clarified that the strikes were carried out by cruise missiles and a drone.
“Two critical infrastructure objects were hit in the Drohobytsky and Stryi districts. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but with destruction.” – said Kozytskyi.
Life support systems of the region continue to work as usual, and power cuts are not introduced.
Kozytskyi also reported that in the village of Sknyliv, Zolochiv district, rocket debris damaged a residential building and an outbuilding. There were no casualties or injuries, but a hole measuring 6 by 5 meters and about 2.5 meters deep was formed at the site of the explosion.
