The SBI, with the support of the CSEU, has developed a new Communication Strategy
The State Bureau of Investigation in cooperation with the Consultative Mission of the European Union in Ukraine (ECMEU) developed and presented a new Communication Strategy.
The document defines the main principles and directions of development of the communication policy of the SBI. It involves increasing the level of openness and accountability, active use of modern digital tools to inform society, as well as systematic interaction with mass media and public organizations. The strategy establishes modern standards of internal and external communications, which will increase the trust of citizens and strengthen the agency’s authority.
The document separately defines target audiences, key messages and algorithms for rapid response to crisis situations. Considerable attention is paid to the development of the international direction of communications, strengthening of internal interaction in the team, as well as the introduction of new formats of work with information – from social networks to specialized educational projects.
Implementation of this strategy is important for DBR, because it makes communication more clear, transparent and consistent. This will contribute to the growth of public trust in the work of the Bureau and increase the effectiveness of its activities.
The State Bureau of Investigation expressed its gratitude to the EU Advisory Mission for expert support and assistance in the development of the document. The agency emphasized that it will continue to remain open to the public, adhere to the principles of transparency and integrity, and also consistently strengthen its communication capabilities as a modern European-level law enforcement agency.
