This year, nearly 2,000 violations of labor legislation were discovered in Ukraine: DPS
During seven months of 2025, tax auditors during actual inspections recorded almost 2 thousand violations of labor legislation, mainly cases of unregistered employment. This was reported by the State Tax Service (DPS).
As a result of the inspectors’ intervention, employers officially employed more than 3,300 workers. More than 1,200 materials for the imposition of fines were handed over to the interregional divisions of the State Labor Service, on the basis of which sanctions in the amount of 25 million hryvnias have already been issued. According to the report, enterprises received warnings for nearly 600 more discovered facts.
The DPS reminded that employers are obliged to formalize labor relations in a timely manner, and violation of the rules entails significant financial and administrative consequences.
“Tax control of the DPS is carried out taking into account the decision of the NSDC on the introduction of legal and organizational measures regarding the moratorium on groundless inspections and intervention of state bodies in business activities, and exclusively taking into account a risk-oriented approach and in the presence of high degrees of risk, the department emphasized.
