Today, Zelensky will visit Belgium to sign a security agreement: details

On Tuesday, May 28, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi will go to Belgium on an official visit. It is reported that the Ukrainian leader plans to sign a security agreement.

Locals were notified beforehand publication VRT about Zelensky’s intention to sign an important document aimed at strengthening security and cooperation with Belgium. This visit is marked as an important step for Ukraine in the development of strategic partnerships in the European Union, in particular with NATO member countries.

According to information received from media sources, at official meetings in Brussels, the President of Ukraine plans to hold talks with high-ranking representatives of the Belgian authorities, in particular with King Philip I, Prime Minister Alexander De Croo and Minister of Defense Ludivin Dedonder. The main topic of discussion will be the issue of military support and security cooperation between Ukraine and Belgium.

It should be noted that earlier on May 27, Ukraine and Spain successfully signed a security agreement, which is an important step for strengthening Ukraine’s partnership with the countries of the European Union and ensuring security in the region.
