Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umyerov reportedthat the Palyanitsa missile has already entered serial production. It was also possible to restore and scale up the production of R-360 cruise missiles of the Neptune complex, modernizing them to hit targets at longer distances.
“Private enterprises are also demonstrating incredible results. For example, a new startup has implemented the Palyanitsa missile project, which has already entered serial production thanks to the support of the Ministry of Defense.”, – noted the head of the defense department.
The head of the Ministry of Defense also emphasized the strategic importance of own developments.
“This is where the strategic importance of our own missiles becomes apparent. Ukrainian cruise and ballistic missiles will allow our Armed Forces to act independently, delivering pinpoint strikes on key enemy targets. This not only strengthens our defense, but also creates an effective deterrent mechanism for the aggressor.”, – he added.
Earlier, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi announced for the first time that the Ukrainian military had struck Russian positions with the help of the domestic Palyanitsa drone missile.
