Trump blamed Zelensky and Biden for the outbreak of the war between Russia and Ukraine

US President Donald Trump blamed at the beginning of the war between Russia and Ukraine of Volodymyr Zelenskyi and Joe Biden.

“The war between Russia and Ukraine is Biden’s war, not mine. During the four years of my presidency, there was no problem preventing it. President Putin and everyone else respected your president!” – Trump said.

He also again made a statement about the alleged falsification of the 2020 presidential elections in the USA, hinting that these events, in his opinion, became the basis for further Russian aggression.

“President Zelenskyi and the dishonest Joe Biden did a terrible job of allowing this tragedy to begin. There were many ways to prevent this from happening. But now it has happened.” Trump added.

His statement sparked heated debate for attempting to shift responsibility for the war onto the attacked country and its allies.

It will be recalled that on April 11, information appeared that Trump may introduce new sanctions against Russia if a ceasefire is not reached by the end of the month.

“We’ll know pretty soon, in a few weeks, not months, whether Russia is serious about peace or not. I hope so.”, — explained Secretary of State Marco Rubio
