US President Donald Trump said that Russia’s war against Ukraine can be quickly ended if the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) lowers oil prices. About this informs Reuters.
“One way to quickly stop the war in Ukraine is to stop making so much money and lower oil prices for OPEC. Therefore, OPEC – crash oil prices. Then this war will stop immediately.” – said Trump.
The US president emphasized that the war is a tragedy for both Ukraine and Russia. He also stated that he would not have allowed Russia to invade Ukraine if he had been president earlier.
“A frightening number of Russian and Ukrainian soldiers are dying in this war. Also, many people are dying in the bombing of cities right now. Casualties are thousands every week. This is madness. A mad war. This would never have happened if I had been president before.”, – Trump added.
