Trump ends lawsuit against Twitter

US President Donald Trump has dropped a lawsuit against Twitter (now “X”) that he filed after his account was suspended in 2021 due to the storming of the Capitol on January 6. About this informs Bloomberg.
The statement said both sides had dropped the appeal, but did not say how the dispute was resolved, other than that the lawsuit was dropped.
In addition to Twitter, Trump has also sued other companies. For example, ABC News paid him $15 million to settle a lawsuit, and Meta paid him $25 million for blocking his Facebook account.
Trump initially sought compensation from Twitter, saying that even after Elon Musk bought the company, restoring his account wasn’t enough. In November 2024, his attorneys requested a stay of the case pending settlement negotiations.
