Україна та Сполучені Штати Америки підписали меморандум, що засвідчує намір остаточно узгодити й укласти угоду, вигідну обом народам. Про це повідомляє віцепрем’єрка та міністерка економіки Юлія Свириденко “Сьогодні зробили крок до спільної зі США Угоди про економічне партнерство. Україна і Сполучені Штати Америки підписали меморандум, який засвідчує конструктивну спільну роботу наших команд та намір фіналізувати й укласти угоду, яка буде вигідна обом нашим народам. Готуємо створення Фонду інвестицій у відбудову України. Відповідна угода відкриватиме можливості для значних інвестицій, модернізації інфраструктури та взаємовигідного партнерства України та Сполучених Штатів – саме з такою метою команди працюють над документом”, — йдеться у повідомленні. Свириденко пояснила, що документ підтверджує “прагнення американського народу інвестувати разом з українським народом у вільну, суверенну та безпечну Україну”. Наступними кроками стануть фіналізація тексту угоди, її підписання та ратифікація обома парламентами. Водночас Президент Сполучених Штатів Америки Дональд Трамп повідомив, що підписання документа можливе вже наступного тижня. “Що ж, у нас є угода про корисні копалини, яку, я думаю, буде підписано в наступний четвер. І я припускаю, що вони виконають угоду, тож побачимо. Але ми домовилися про це”, – зазначив Трамп.

“Today, we took a step toward a joint Economic Partnership Agreement with the United States. Ukraine and the United States of America signed a memorandum that certifies the constructive joint work of our teams and the intention to finalize and conclude an agreement that will be beneficial to both our peoples.
We are preparing the creation of the Investment Fund for the Reconstruction of Ukraine. The corresponding agreement will open opportunities for significant investments, modernization of infrastructure and mutually beneficial partnership between Ukraine and the United States – it is with this goal that the teams are working on the document.” – says the message.
Svyridenko explained that the document confirms “the desire of the American people to invest together with the Ukrainian people in a free, sovereign and safe Ukraine.” The next steps will be the finalization of the text of the agreement, its signing and ratification by both parliaments.
At the same time, the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, announced that the signing of the document is possible as early as next week.
“Well, we have a mineral deal that I think is going to be signed next Thursday. And I’m assuming they’re going to honor the deal, so we’ll see. But we’ve agreed on that.” – said Trump.
