In Ukraine, the most extensive testing of ground robotic platforms was conducted — 50 teams took part in it. About this reported Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
“We conducted the most extensive tests of ground robotic platforms in Ukraine. 50 teams – participants of the Brave1 cluster tested the developments in conditions that are as close as possible to combat ones”, – the message says.
According to Fedorov, field testing is a key stage before transferring technologies to the forefront, as it allows to assess their effectiveness in real conditions. The test distance for the robots was 10 kilometers. During the event, their cargo capacity and compliance with technical parameters were checked.
“We arranged the most difficult conditions — an unknown route and EW on constantly changing frequencies.” – clarified the minister.
Fedorov emphasized that most of the ground robotic complexes showed excellent results at long distances.
“These robots can transport significant amounts of equipment, provisions and explosives,” – noted Fedorov and added that the robotic systems developed within Brave1 are already used in combat conditions in many units.
It is expected that in the near future all logistics operations on the front will be carried out by the works.
