Ukraine has imposed sanctions against suppliers of products for the Russian military-industrial complex
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree implementing the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on the application of sanctions against individuals and companies supplying communications equipment, microelectronics, and electronic warfare equipment to the Russian military-industrial complex. This was reported by the press service of the Office of the President.
95 individuals and 70 companies, most of whom are citizens and residents of Russia, have been subject to new restrictions. They are related to the servicing of Russia’s state defense order and the activities of its military-industrial complex. Among them are managers and enterprises that produce and supply products for Russian security forces and in the field of communications, electronic warfare, and microelectronics.
The sanctions also affected industrial enterprises in the chemical, metallurgical, mining, and fuel and energy sectors of the Russian Federation. The OP emphasized that Ukraine continues to coordinate its sanctions steps with partner countries, and some positions will be taken into account in the 20th package of sanctions of the European Union, the preparation of which is ongoing.
