Ukraine may start paying pensions through Nova Poshta: a bill has been registered in the Verkhovna Rada
People’s deputies of Ukraine initiated a new draft law, which provides for the possibility of paying pensions through the NovaPay payment system from the Nova Poshta company. This decision is designed to ensure faster and more convenient access to pension payments for Ukrainian pensioners.
This was stated by People’s Deputy Taras Tarasenko during a speech on Ranok.LIVE on October 8. He explained that the relevant draft law is already ready and proposes to make “Nova Poshta” the operator of pension payments on a par with “Ukrposhta” and “Oschadbank”.
The main goal of this initiative is to use the wide network of “Novaya Poshta” branches, which will allow more prompt delivery of pensions, especially in remote settlements and rural areas, where access to bank branches may be limited.
Tarasenko emphasized that “Nova Poshta” has an extensive infrastructure, which will be able to work faster and more conveniently compared to traditional pension payment channels, such as “Ukrposhta”.
In addition, NovaPay, the payment system of Nova Poshta, already implements other financial products, in particular lending to small and medium-sized businesses. The company also began cooperation with agricultural enterprises, giving the opportunity to owners of land shares to receive payments through this service.
