Another 103 Ukrainian servicemen were freed from Russian captivity. About this reported President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his Telegram.
“Ours are at home. Another 103 soldiers were returned to Ukraine from Russian captivity. 82 privates and sergeants. 21 officers. Defenders of Kyiv Oblast, Donetsk Oblast, Mariupol and Azovstal, Luhansk Oblast, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv Oblast. Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, border guards, policemen. Thanks to our exchange team for such good news for Ukraine”, – the head of state.

The Coordinating Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War reported that among the released 38 National Guardsmen, 28 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including two from the Kraken special unit, two from the International Legion, three from the Special Operations Forces and one Territorial Defense Forces soldier.

Eight border guards, four policemen, 21 military sailors, three representatives of the State Special Transport Service and one representative of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine were also released.

All those released were men: 82 soldiers and sergeants, as well as 21 officers.

Among the dismissed soldiers, 69 defended Mariupol, including 31 defenders of “Azovstal”. They also took part in hostilities in Donetsk region, Luhansk region, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson region, Kharkiv region, and Kyiv region. In addition, two guards of the Chornobyl NPP are among the freed.
