Ukrainian business doubled its use of AI in a year

The share of small and medium-sized businesses in Ukraine that are actively implementing artificial intelligence tools has doubled in a year and reached 42%. This was announced by Inga Andreeva, General Director of Mastercard in Ukraine and Moldova, during the Kyiv International Economic Forum (KIEF).

“42% said they had started using artificial intelligence. Last year, this figure was 21 percentage points lower”, – Andreeva emphasized.

She noted that AI is most often used in the field of marketing, communications and targeting. As of today, 85% of small and medium-sized businesses use digital channels due to their convenience and speed, and 93% already use cashless payments in Ukraine.

“72% of respondents told us that more than 50% of their satisfaction is already formed due to cashless payments”, – Andreeva specified.

She also reported that 62% of small and medium-sized business representatives either already export their products or plan to start exporting in the near future.
