The Ukrainian delegation is planning a meeting with representatives of the United States in Saudi Arabia on March 11. The main goal of the talks is to strengthen the strategic partnership and discuss possible ways to achieve peace. About the upcoming meeting reported President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
“At the beginning of next week, I will visit Saudi Arabia, and after the meeting on Monday with the Crown Prince, Ukrainian diplomatic and military representatives will continue their work, staying on Tuesday for negotiations with the American delegation.”, the president noted.
The Ukrainian delegation will include the head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak, Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiga, Minister of Defense Rustem Umyerov and deputy head of the Office of the President Pavlo Palisa.
The American side will be represented at the meeting by Special Representative for the Middle East Steve Witkoff, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Adviser Mike Waltz.
The talks will take place in the city of Jeddah, where the parties will discuss bilateral cooperation, strengthening of strategic partnership and concrete steps that can contribute to the establishment of peace.
