Ukrainians have been allocated 20,000 free licenses for the Google Certification in Professional AI program on the Coursera platform. The initiative is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Economy, and its goal is to develop digital skills and career opportunities for Ukrainians. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy.
The educational program was created by Google specialists. It includes seven short courses that can be completed in less than 10 hours at a pace that is convenient for you. The training includes more than 20 practical tasks based on real-world scenarios.
The program covers the main areas of use of artificial intelligence, including the basic principles of the technology, content creation, data analysis and the use of AI tools in development.
Participants will have free access to the course, will be able to receive certificates upon completion of the training, and will also gain practical skills in working with artificial intelligence. In addition, they will receive a bonus of 90 days of free access to Google AI Pro with the ability to use Gemini tools in popular Google services.
On May 6, at the start of the program, an introductory webinar will be held with the participation of experts and graduates of previous training programs. Submission of applications for participation will continue from April 21 to May 25. You can register through partner organizations, including the Ukrainian Veterans Fund, Veteran Hub, Kyiv School of Economics, EdEra, and others.
During the selection, priority will be given to veterans, military personnel and their family members, as well as women who want to develop in the field of modern technologies.
In order to join the program, you need to go to the program website, select one of the partner organizations to gain access to training, fill out the registration form on the website of this organization, and wait for a letter with further instructions from the partners. At this stage, it is not necessary to register directly on Coursera. Selected participants will be able to take courses and receive certificates by mid-July. The number of licenses is limited.
