Ukrposhta updates postpaid payment rules for individuals

Ukrposhta is updating the postpaid payment rules for individuals — new limits on cash transactions will come into effect in branches from July 1, 2025. About this informs the press service of the company.

The changes are part of compliance and anti-abuse measures. At the same time, Ukrposhta assures that most customers will not feel any discomfort, and those who are subject to the new restrictions will have time to adapt. From the specified date, restrictions will apply to individuals in branches: the amount of payment transactions during one calendar month will not exceed 100 thousand hryvnias, and the number of transactions – ten.

Regarding post-payment with payment to a bank card, the current limits remain unchanged. They provide for the maximum amount of operations during one day — 29,999 hryvnias and no more than 50 operations. During the month, the limits are 250 thousand hryvnias and 500 transactions, respectively.

“This is enough for anyone who does not run a business. If you intend to or are already selling goods, you should open a sole proprietorship or choose another legal form of work.” – said the company.

As a reminder, since June 9, Ukrposhta has made it possible to receive up to five items without a queue – even in branches where there are no specially designated windows.
