“Ukrzaliznytsia” has introduced the “E-Order” function for the transportation of empty wagons
JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” (UZ) launched a new functionality on the “UZ-Cargo E-Portal” – “E-Order” – for the transportation of empty wagons. About this reported Valeriy Tkachev, deputy director of the company’s commercial work department.
The service makes it possible to make applications online, track their status in real time and work without unnecessary paper procedures. It will be available in the “E-Order” section of the UZ-Cargo portal. You can read more about its use in the user manual located in the “E-Orders” register, as well as in the corresponding block on the main page of the “personal account”.
At the first stage, logical controls will function in warning mode so that customers can gradually get used to the new interface. Mandatory verification of the presence of the agreed “E-Order” during the processing of transport documents is scheduled approximately from September 1, 2025.
It will be recalled that on August 15, three carriages of passenger train No. 39/40 between Zaporizhzhia and Solotvyno derailed in Zakarpattia Oblast. None of the passengers or members of the train crew were injured. The causes of the incident are being investigated by a special commission, but preliminary reports indicate that the rail “ejected” due to abnormal heat.
