Vance Admits Musk’s Mistakes While Working on DOGE

US Vice President JD Vance said Elon Musk made a number of mistakes while working on a Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) project aimed at shrinking the federal government. About this informs CNN.

Vance noted that Musk himself recognizes the possibility of errors in work and the need for their prompt correction.

“Elon Musk himself said that sometimes you do something, you make a mistake, and then you correct it. I accept mistakes. I also believe that these mistakes should be corrected quickly. But I fully understand that there are many good people working in the government – people who do their jobs very well. And we want to keep as much as possible what works in the government, while eliminating what does not work.” Vance emphasized.

So far, this is one of the first times a senior White House official has publicly acknowledged flaws in Musk’s team’s work on DOGE. Earlier, 21 employees resigned from this department, saying that they did not want to use their technical skills to “destroy critical public services”.
