Volodymyr Zelenskyi and Keith Kellogg held a meeting in Kyiv

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi conducted in Kyiv, a meeting with the special representative of the US President for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg.

The parties discussed a number of areas of cooperation, including security guarantees for Ukraine, pressure on Russia to end the war that the Russian Federation has waged against Ukraine, the issue of kidnapped Ukrainian children, as well as international cooperation in this context.

“These are separate projects within the PURL initiative to finance the production and procurement of the “Patriot” air defense systems, strong bilateral agreements for the joint production of drones and weapons that we have offered to America. We count on a positive reaction from the USA, – the President of Ukraine told about the details of the meeting.

Zelensky emphasized that the sanctions pressure against Russia should lead to negotiations at the highest level – between the President of Ukraine and the head of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

“He expressed his condolences to the American people in connection with the terrible murder of Charlie Kirk and thanked President Trump for his sympathy and reaction to the murder of Ukrainian Iryna Zarutska, which happened in the state of North Carolina. It is important that justice triumphs every time violence tries to take over,” Zelenskyy added.

In addition, the president and the US special representative discussed preparations for the 80th UN General Assembly, which will be held in September, as well as the coordination of actions between Ukraine and the United States and work within the coalition of the willing.
