Volodymyr Zelenskyi shared the information of the Ukrainian intelligence regarding incidents with drones in Denmark
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared with the Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen the data of Ukrainian intelligence on incidents with drones that happened in the country.
“Of course, they talked about the situation with drones, which have already been recorded in the sky of Denmark three times this week. He shared details from our intelligence, – said Zelensky.
He added that he and Frederiksen “equally understand” that against the background of these incidents, Ukraine and Denmark should strengthen coordination and increase defense production. The president emphasized that the incidents involving the UAVs were not accidental and related to Moscow.
“Russia is trying to remake Europe for itself – for its idea of life. And this is such an idea that no European will like, except, of course, those whom Russia has corrupted. Therefore, countermeasures are needed. Joint actions are needed. Joint defense is possible, Zelenskyy stressed.
In addition, he said that he and Frederiksen discussed preparations for the summit of the European Political Community, which will take place next week in Denmark:
“We agreed on meetings with partners, we are preparing for diplomatic work”.
Let us remind you that on the night of September 26, the Danish authorities closed the airspace over Aalborg airport due to a threat from enemy drones. The country’s prime minister characterized the UAV attacks as a hybrid war, calling the perpetrator a coward. Earlier, Frederiksen did not rule out that Russia could be behind these incidents.
