Volodymyr Zelenskyy received credentials from the new ambassadors of six countries
The President congratulated the new ambassadors on the start of their diplomatic mission in Ukraine.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accepted credentials from new ambassadors from Mexico, Italy, Slovakia, the Netherlands, India and Belgium.
In accordance with message on the official website of the Office of the President, among the new diplomatic representatives in Ukraine are Audencio Contreras Gonzalez (Mexico), Carlo Formosa (Italy), Pavel Vizdal (Slovakia), Alle Dorhout (Netherlands), Ravi Shankar (India) and Luc Jacobs (Belgium).
The President congratulated the ambassadors on the start of their diplomatic mission in Ukraine, expressing hope for the deepening of bilateral relations and the active development of dialogue with each of these countries. Zelenskyi also thanked them for supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine during the full-scale war.
During the meeting with the ambassador of Mexico, Zelenskyy called on his country to support the Joint Communiqué and join the implementation of the “peace formula”. He also invited newly elected President Claudia Sheinbaum to visit Ukraine. Prospects of cooperation in space research and aerospace for peaceful purposes were discussed.
In a conversation with the Italian ambassador, the president praised Italy’s role during its presidency of the Group of Seven and the decision to allocate 50 billion dollars to Ukraine. Strengthening of defense cooperation was also discussed, in particular regarding the strengthening of air defense of Ukraine. Zelensky thanked the Italian government for the decision to hold the next Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC) in Rome in 2025.
With the Slovak ambassador, the president discussed the implementation of joint projects aimed at the economic development of both countries and strengthening stability in the region. Zelensky also invited the President of Slovakia to visit Ukraine.
During a meeting with Indian Ambassador Ravi Shankar, the President expressed hope that India would join the Peace Summit communique. They also discussed the prospects of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
In conversations with the ambassadors of Belgium and the Netherlands, Zelensky emphasized the importance of these countries’ assistance in strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities, in particular, thanks to the transfer of F-16 fighter jets.
