An attack drone of the Houthi organization “Ansar Allah”, launched from Yemen, attacked the Israeli city of Eilat, as a result of which at least 20 people were injured. This is reported by CNN.

The Israeli Air Force was unable to intercept the Houthi drone. Two missiles from the Iron Dome system were fired at the drone, but none hit the target. The Air Force is currently investigating the incident.

According to the emergency services, many victims were injured by debris. In particular, a 60-year-old man is in a serious condition due to injuries to his limbs, a 26-year-old victim was seriously injured in the chest, and another person was moderately injured.

In a separate statement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said its troops were assisting in the evacuation of civilians from the area and providing first aid:

An IDF helicopter was dispatched and is now helping to evacuate the wounded from the scene”.

Recall that Israel and the Yemeni Houthis constantly exchange blows: the Houthis attack civilian infrastructure and civilians, while the Israeli Air Force strikes military facilities of the pro-Iranian terrorist group.
