Yulia Svyrydenko’s income at the Kyiv School of Economics exceeded her salary at the Cabinet of Ministers

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko officially filed her annual income declaration for 2025. According to the data published in the state register, the total amount of her annual earnings amounted to 4.76 million hryvnias.

It is noteworthy that the lion’s share of this income was provided not by civil service, but by teaching and expert activities. In particular, fees from the Kyiv School of Economics brought the head of government 3.24 million hryvnias, which significantly exceeds her official salary at her main place of work.

Yulia Svyrydenko was paid 1.37 million hryvnias for performing her duties in the Cabinet of Ministers. In addition to the main sources of income, the reports include minor payments from the Serhiy Nyzhny Kyiv School of Public Administration.

The Prime Minister’s monetary assets include funds in bank accounts at PrivatBank and a symbolic amount at Universal Bank. The official also keeps 10 thousand US dollars in cash and indicated 100 thousand hryvnias as a guarantee deposit under a property lease agreement.

“The declaration shows that for her work in the Cabinet of Ministers, Svyrydenko received 1.37 million UAH. At the same time, fees from the Kyiv School of Public Administration brought her another 3.24 million UAH,” the declaration register states.

As for real estate, the Prime Minister owns two apartments: one in the capital with an area of ​​33.5 square meters and the other in Chernihiv with an area of ​​74.3 square meters.

She also owns a quarter of another apartment in Chernihiv together with relatives. In 2025, Svyridenko began renting a spacious apartment in Kyiv, the area of ​​which is almost 93 square meters. In addition, the report mentions a land plot in the village of Klochkiv in Chernihiv region, which she purchased in 2022.

“Svyridenko owns an apartment in Kyiv with an area of ​​33.5 sq. m, an apartment in Chernihiv with an area of ​​74.3 sq. m, as well as 25% of another apartment in Chernihiv, which she owns together with relatives,” the documents say.

The transport section of the declaration contains information about the use of a 2016 BMW X3. The publication of the financial report of the head of government is a mandatory step within the framework of anti-corruption legislation and demonstrates the transparency of the income of the state’s top leadership. Analysis of the declaration indicates that Yulia Svyrydenko continues to combine public administration with scientific and educational activities in the country’s leading educational institutions.
