President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that Vladimir Putin causes more irritation in the White House than he himself. This is what the head of state said reported during communication with journalists.
When asked who is more annoying in the United States — him or Putin — Zelenskyy answered:
“I think, Putin. Because I may say unpleasant things, but I speak the truth. And I say what I think. And he may sometimes say very nice things, but they are lies. And I think that for intelligent people, those are the ones that are more disturbing, the other people. Whatever the public rhetoric, I think they are really disappointed – I don’t know if that’s the right word. But I think in general the White House understands that Putin definitely does not want anything finish as the White House wants it.”
The President of Ukraine also emphasized that partnership relations can be maintained even in an inconvenient format of interaction.
“I think the problem with Putin is that if you think you’re in a dialogue, you’re really alone.” – summed up Zelensky.
